Before diving into the Christmas festivities, it’s time to take a look back at the beautiful posts we’ve been tagged in by our wonderful community on Instagram. As you might expect for the time of the year, we’ve seen some remarkable Christmas inspired spaces and thought we’d showcase three of our favourites. Grab a hot chocolate, pop on your reindeer jumper and enjoy our December social snapshot!

Our favourite social posts from December

December is a time for festivities and styling our homes to welcome friends, family , and of course Santa on Christmas Eve. To celebrate this most expressive of seasons, we have compiled three fabulous posts from this month all featuring a festive display. From chic, minimal charm to vibrant Christmas maximalism. We hope they inspire you as much as they’ve inspired us!

A cosy Christmas

Our first post comes from the wonderful @fellside_story. This lovely real showcases the transformation of a beautifully decorated living room with a luxurious Roman blind.

Featuring a soft yet comfortable neutral colour palette, this space is extremely cosy and stylish. Keeping on theme but with a little more flare, the green of the delightful Christmas tree adds a pop of yuletide excitement while the carefully considered tree ornaments harmonise with the wider decor.

Creams, whites and gold decorations are ideal choices for Christmas decorations in a neutral colour way, especially when they add an extra sparkle of festive magic!

Completing the aesthetic charm of the room is a Casmance Taiga Beige Roman blind. This thick blind is fantastic all year round, but it’s particularly well suited to winter months.

By forming a substantial barrier between the December cold and your space, this blind will help keep a room warm while you celebrate! The textured fabric also adds depth and further cosiness to the space making it ideal for chic, comfortable rooms.

A traditional Christmas space

@architectandi has tagged us in a beautifully charming post which captures the feel of a traditional Christmas with a modern twist.

Taking center stage is the timelessly elegant christmas tree clad in elegant baubles and sophisticated lights. While supremely stylish, the tree isn’t the only eye-catching part of this living room.

The combination of traditional elements such as the wall lamps, bay window, coving and wainscoting, with soft modern green shades and plush, soft carpets makes this space a perfect blend of old and new.

The finishing touches to this delightful room are the refined Entwine Warm White Roman Blinds covering the windows. Offering style and functionality, a quality Roman blind is the ideal choice for almost any home. All that remains to be said is we hope the Fortnum and Mason hamper is filled with plenty of tasty treats!

A festive spectacular

Last. but no means least if this fabulously festive room by @motherhoodmadhouse!

The tree in this room is brimming with joy and happiness, it’s the perfect family Christmas tree. Featuring a variety of different colours alongside some adorable handmade decorations, this tree is ideal for hiding exciting presents under. Adding to the celebratory feel are the nutcrackers which add a classical element to the arrangement. You can learn more about the Nutcracker Christmas trend in our recent blog.

Beyond the tree, this lovely room has some amazing nature-inspired elements. The combination of wood and stone at the floors and walls respectively makes the space feel calming and tranquil. Enhancing this lovely energy is the crisp white vertical blind. Letting light filter into the room while maintaining privacy is the ideal choice for any living room. The chic white shade adds a blissful tranquillity and refreshing quality to the room too. It’s a 10/10 from us!
