A Social Snapshot: A Flawless February

February has come to an end, but on the horizon are brighter days and the promises of spring. Before we prepare our clocks to lose an hour however, we thought we’d take a moment to showcase some of the truly breathtaking posts we’ve been tagged in throughout the last four weeks on Instagram. Get comfy, these posts are just fabulous!
Our favourite social posts from February
Winter is coming to an end and the focus of many of us is shifting toward the brighter, more positive weeks of the year. As a result, we’ve noticed an explosion of colour on Instagram, with the three examples below exemplifying the spirit of spring.
A beautiful bathroom
Our first post comes from the supremely talented @fromlondontomanchester. This reel features a beautiful colour palette expertly arranged throughout the bathroom to create a space that’s both elegant and stylish.
The first thing to note is the luxurious blue grey of the walls. This colour is both eye-catching and bold, making it the ideal colour for a bathroom. Adding a soft luxurious edge to the wall is the wood panelling painted in the same colour. This creates a feeling of unity while adding a sophisticated detail. A combination of a bronze shower curtain rail and shimmering bright silver taps adds further interest and energy to the space.
Beyond the striking metals and stylish blue are the soft fabrics found in this striking bathroom. The energising shower curtain and pink lamp shades add an eye catching detail and depth to the room as does the Roman blind in the window. This soft recycled blush Roman blind adds a luxurious finish to the room while providing the peace and privacy required in such a lovely bathroom.
The perfect play space
Second up is a beautiful child’s play room from the wonderful @kateshome_ account on Instagram. Featuring warm yet soothing colours, this is the perfect environment for a little one to both relax and fully explore their imagination in.
The walls offer a chic yet cosy foundation to the room with both lovely colours and textures added to curate an overall snug and comfortable ambience. While offering lots of fun, the neatly stored toys can also be easily seen in the room improving their appeal and excitement.
The cosy coloured bunting on the walls adds a delightful detail that’s conducive to play while the lovely potted plants add an organic twist that is beneficial to people of all ages.
Completing the look of this brilliant room is a Casamance Casual Lilas Roman Blind. Featuring a gentle pencil stripe pattern, this Pencil Stripe Rose Roman Blind offers a youthful, charming look which is perfect for this characterful room.
All the other details balance perfectly together, adding a relaxing, cosy and harmonious effect to the room. The rich brown sofa, the soft airy curtains covering the patio door and the black wall mounted lamps all offer different strengths that really shine when combined.
The use of grey as a decorative accent is also very interesting in this room. The frames for both the windows and doors are in a sophisticated grey shade that adds a more modern finish compared with the standard white. Synergising perfectly with these frames in the delightful grey ceiling with matching coving. This different approach to a ceiling that’s darker than the walls is supremely fashionable and couldn’t look any better! It’s a 10/10 from us.
