A Social Snapshot: An Admirable April
May is drawing near and with its exciting arrival we’re one step closer to the warm, bright days of summer! Before we bid farewell to April however, we wanted to pause and reflect on some of the amazing social media posts we’ve been tagged in during the last four weeks. Throughout April, we’ve seen a fantastic selection of home images shared with us on Instagram. In a dazzling array of images and videos, we noticed a surge of beautiful curtains and they will be today’s theme! These are three of our favourite posts from the last month.
Wonderful wave pleats
Our first image is from the beautiful, exciting home of @the_jolly_reno. This is an amazing property featuring warming, energetic colours. Featuring foundational tones of cosy cream and off white interjected with rich wood tones and joyful oranges, this space is the perfect mix of timeless retro style and contemporary cool. So let’s talk about the curtains.
To help keep the heat in and to enrich an already beautiful glass door set within a large window, the guys behind @the_jolly_reno decided to add a cosy, homely Verona Oyster Curtain. Double pinch pleats are a beautiful detail for both classical and contemporary inspired curtains. @reecesreno’s beautiful Instagram account showcases just how beautiful these stylish curtains can be – and the remarkable impact they can have on a room’s unique style.
@reecesreno lives in an extremely characterful, old farm house and as she says, “ With a big old farmhouse, come big old windows. These obviously let in oodles of light and make the room cool in the winter.”
