June has arrived, ushering in the start of the British summer with its longer days, softer light, and breezy interiors. As we welcome the warmer weather, there’s no better time to refresh your home – and Roman blinds are proving to be a favourite choice for adding style and seasonal charm. So kick back, grab a cold drink and enjoy some of the wonderful social posts that we have been tagged in!

Our favourite social posts from June

This month we’ve explored Instagram to find inspiring spaces where our Roman blinds take centre stage, offering both elegance and practicality. Here are three standout posts from our creative customers that highlight how the right window dressings can breathe new life into your home this summer.

Tranquil terracotta

Our first image comes from the effortlessly talented @forever_faffing_at_home. Showcasing a living space that perfectly captures the laid-back charm of early summer, this room feels cool, calm and full of personality.

At the heart of the space is a beautifully balanced colour pairing of warm terracotta and muted blue. This combination of baked earth tones and dusky coastal shades creates a relaxing atmosphere – evoking beach vibes and reflective tranquility. The room is tied together by the stunning Camengo Managua Cuivre Roman blind, featuring a tribal-inspired pattern in a rich rust tone.

The overall design is layered with thoughtful, tactile details. The scattering of cushions in complimentary tones and playful patterns adds both comfort and contrast, while the presence of plants and the gentle glow of the lamp provide added depth and character.

And of course, how could we not mention the most charming detail of all? – the four-legged friend perched proudly on the sofa! Clearly this pup gives the decor her full approval – and honestly, we do too.

Free samples of this fabric and all of our other Roman blinds are available, and don’t forget – all of our Roman blinds and curtains can be upgraded with free blackout thermal lining.

A refreshing retreat

Our next featured post comes from @thestanleydiary with their serene and beautifully styled bedroom. With a soft, neutral colour palette of white and cream, this space creates an effortlessly soothing atmosphere – perfect for winding down at the end of a long summer day.

One of our favourite qualities at work here is the elegant and understated use of clean, straight lines throughout the design. From the subtle pinstripe bedding to the crisp, tailored Roman blind and bold picture frame, there’s a quiet symmetry at play here that adds a sense of order and calm.

It’s the little touches, however, that truly elevate this space. From the small cluster of delicate white flowers on the bedside table, to the rustic portrait of the stag above the bed. The choice of lighting is particularly noteworthy – each lamp and light fitting, from the ceiling pendant to the pleated lampshade, has its own personality while still harmonising gracefully within the room.

Together, these elements create a space that feels peaceful, curated and deeply inviting – a quiet retreat that demonstrates just how impactful minimal, well-executed styling can be.

Blooming lovely

Last this month, but by no means least, is this welcoming and carefully curated living room from @myhome.andstage.

Across the space, a mix of decorative pieces helps to build a layered, lived-in look that feels both sophisticated and personal. From the beautiful arrangement of lilac flowers in a rustic ceramic vase, to the flickering candle set in a glass holder, there is a clear appreciation here for objects that evoke calm and comfort.

At the centre of the room is the appealing Woodcote Sage Roman blind. The floral design brings a rich, nature-inspired palette to the decor – ideal for achieving a light yet grounded summer aesthetic. Beside it, the shelving unit displays a thoughtful blend of ornaments and textured ceramics – all adding interest without overwhelming the space.

The cushions scattered across the sofa are another highlight, offering a mix of prints and textures that echo the leaf motif of the blind. Soft lighting is provided by a delightful lampshade, boasting another floral print that compliments the other uses found across the room.

When brought together, this room feels harmonious and full of quiet character. The coordination of tones, patterns and textures creates a refined yet relaxed setting. For more botanical inspiration, explore our extensive range of floral blinds here.
