Today, we are again presenting some of the best images we’ve seen on our Instagram over the past four weeks! Our endless scrolling and admiring of all your images has once again paid off, and as usual, refining dozens of these fine photos to a top three was a challenge. That said, we hope you enjoy them as much as we have!

Light and Bright for Summer

This month, with summer fast approaching, we thought we would focus on light, bright, and airy interiors and provide you with some seasonal inspiration. We will be exploring a range of styles and expressing what we love most about them, so let’s get into the thick of it…

Boho chic

A rattan lampshade, floral print bedding and a touch of wood and ceramic. What’s not to love?!

@potteringatprimrose has created a bedroom of dreams. The soft colour palette and muted tones make us want to relax and bury our nose into a good book. One aspect of the room we particularly love is the use of the cushions as they are a great way to bring colour and pattern into a space. With a variety of patterns, colours and textures portrayed in the styling of the bed, they complement one another making the bed enticing to rest upon.

Layering window dressings is an interior design trick that we particularly love, and we love the way @potteringatprimrose has done it. Working within a similar colour palette to that of the bedding, the Roman blind layered with the curtains creates a sense of warmth and comfort. Completed with a minimalist black curtain pole that balances out the floating shelf, the equilibrium within the room has been well thought through, ultimately achieving the desired effect.

Bathrooms are special places in the home where we can relax and unwind amidst bubbles and candles. Ensuring we have a well thought out scheme, that balances the vibrance needed to spring us awake, to the deeper colours that relax our minds in the evening can be a challenge. Nonetheless, @pixierosecottage has mastered this with the use of Venetian blinds, monochrome tiles and grey cabinets with a smattering of leafy plants.

We adore the strong use of faux and real plants alongside the implementation of the Venetian blind. These well-chosen items transform the room into a haven, making this space one we want to be in and unwind! Reconnecting with nature has many practical benefits so using strong floral additions in spaces where we spend a large period of time will not only make the space pleasing to the eye, but also improve our wellbeing. Well done @pixierosecottage!

Combining traditional with contemporary

@mama_and_minimees created a bedroom that we just adore. It is the perfect combination of contemporary and traditional style, creating a striking interior. The panelling and button back headboard bring in an element of traditional design while the soft colour palette used modernises the space.

Throughout the room we see sleek, straight lines with the day and night blind, panelling, and curtain pole. All of these elements work together to create a modern twist on the beloved traditional style. What we particularly love about this space is the implementation of black. From the trimming on the lamp shade to the black curtain pole, these colours draw the eye in and add depth to the space, creating a visually captivating room. In its entirety, this space looks comfortable, warm and the perfect relaxation room.
