Fitting plays a big role in performance: Roller & Vertical Blinds: For maximum light control, choose the ‘exact’ measurement option and fit outside the window recess to minimise gaps. Thermal Pleated or Honeycomb Blinds: Fitting outside the recess may slightly reduce thermal efficiency, but if blackout is your priority, ‘exact’ is still recommended. Easy Stick or Click honeycomb blinds are mounted directly onto the window or window frame, so recess or exact options don’t apply - but they deliver the ultimate blackout effect. Roller Blinds (Fabric Direction): A standard/front roll keeps the fabric closer to the window for reduced light bleed, though the roll remains visible. Reverse roll hides the roll but positions fabric further from the glass, which can allow more light around the edges when fitted inside the recess. Where no fabric direction option is shown, reverse roll is provided as standard on all upgrades, while classic blinds are supplied with a standard/front roll. Whichever style you choose, blackout fabrics provide the most effective light reduction — perfect for restful sleep and improved privacy.

Child Safety

We take the safety and well-being of children very seriously. That's why all of our blinds are supplied with a child safety device, which ensures cords and chains are safely secured to the wall, preventing the risk of strangulation. Each blind is manufactured with a maximum chain length of one metre, keeping it out of reach of small children. If you require a chain longer than one metre, please contact us when you have placed your order. Conditions will still apply in accordance with child safety regulations.

Made to measure blinds & curtains

Please note, our made to measure blinds are produced to a +/- 5mm tolerance level and +/- 3cm for curtains. This is in addition to any recess deduction. When ordering a made to measure item, you are responsible for entering you required width and drop, therefore the product cannot be returned under normal terms and conditions.

When producing your louvres, we use either a welded or stitched finish. Our fabric experts carefully assess each material and determine the most suitable method to ensure the best quality and durability. This decision is based on their expertise and cannot be altered

Blinds Direct Returns

Our usual refund policy doesn’t apply to made-to-measure products, which cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged. This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described. Standard products can be returned within 30 days if unused and in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
